a friend in need is a friend indeed

And I am that friend. Thanks for hanging out with me and talking even though you are incredibly busy and exhausted from your labour. You know who you are.

---

I wonder if being this busy and tired is the way things are supposed to be. I wonder if I should continue to push myself to do things and keep myself busy even if I don't want to. Is this what life is actually like? I keep thinking that one day I will slow down. I'll stop being involved in so many thing and then I will be less busy and have more time to relax. I'm not sure that I want more time to relax. I'm not even sure I know how to relax.

"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy."

Amen to the Sabbath. There really is no day I love better. It's just so right…and such a blessing.
