what

Yesterday, I was walking through the mall, trying to find some Christmas presents that didn't suck, and I saw a sign in the window of that Boathouse store that said "Give the gift of Brands".

I felt like I was in another dimension or something. It was a wierd feeling, and I found the nearest exit and left.

Question: Why do you pay extra money for clothes so that the company that you are giving money to can have free advertising space on your chest?

It doesn't make sense, does it. Really, we ought to get a discount for wearing their logos.

Basically, it's about status. If you wear that brand, then you must have money... And if you have money then uh.. .you have money? I guess that's the way rich people think....

when i think of the word "brand" i think of the action of searing a sign of ownership into the fleshy hindquarters of a bovine animal.

i sometimes feel like a snob.

i don't much care about brands, but i do care about what my clothes look like and if they're going to fall apart when i wear them.
