Consider this a not-by-little-sister comment.
btw you'd probably have fewer superficial friends if you spoke your mind.. but those who understand where you're coming from would stick around, and that's who your real friends are anyway.

I agree with you. The poem is more of an expression of my irrational fears of rejection. I have some of the most un-superficial friends in the world. actually I don't think I have any superficial friends...
I think the poem is more about the secrets that I am not secure enough with myself to tell anyone about.
everyone has a few of those.
I'm pretty superficial, but then I'm your cousin, so maybe that doesn't count as a superficial friend.
Hmm. I can understand you a little bit, even if you don't say things. Sometimes it's better to no say stuff than to say stuff I guess. You and Dan kind of taught me that.
by 'superficial' I didn't mean that the people themselves were superficial... rather, that your relationship with them might be, as with a casual acquaintance. Relationship lacks depth, therefore, it is 'superficial' whether either party is or not.

hahahaaa... as she laughed her insomnomaniacal laugh. Garnet told me some of the knock knock jokes you guys were impressing your waitress with the other night, and they were funnier. sorry.
