Education is important, it makes a man complete

But everything I learned in school I learned again on the street.

---

Sometimes I think really crazy things. Questions and ideas and questions about those ideas will be swirling around in my head and consuming my waking moments, which tend to be longer because I can't sleep because I am thinking constantly. This makes me really tired, which makes it more difficult to think, which makes me think more, which makes me sleep less. It's a vicious cycle.

Lately I've been thinking about the Bible, and that I should probably start taking it a whole lot more seriously.
I've been thinking about relationships. You really shouldn't mess around with them because they can really hurt. I just wish I could do something about it.
I've been thinking about disappointment. Does it make sense to be disappointed? God always has a better idea. Consider it pure joy my brethren...
I've been thinking about the city of Hamilton. It's really ugly. It scares me. I think i'm in love with it.
I've been thinking that I need to read more books and start studying things more, because I have no idea what is going on.

Ryan

a light to the nations

Being a light to those around us doesn't mean not doing things that unbelievers do - it means doing things that Christians do.

that means alot

So lately I've been noticing a lack of encouragement and uplifting, thoughtful messages on my blog. I've decided not to blog anymore until I have something real to post. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next month, maybe next year. Hopefully not never.
I say this out of a renewed realization of the power of words and the duty that every Christian has to be sure that everything flowing from his or her mouth (or keyboard) builds others up and directs their thoughts toward the Father of heavenly lights.
I hope that in the future you will find this blog to be encouraging and more purposeful.

love,
Ryan
