Today I sat and talked with James for a long time about lots of awesome things. It's so awesome to sit with a good friend and share scripture with each other. Psalm 89, Psalm 101, 1 Corinthians 4, Psalm 24.
God is good.

I have all the money I need for Kentucky. It all sort of fell into my lap. I knew it would, but somehow I am still suprised. I am so stoked for this trip. God is going to use us in awesome ways, I know it.

amen to that. close friends are awesome. God is sooo good.
It's a blessing. Some of us have never quite mastered having a close friend like that... or finding anyone worth being a close friend.
Real friends are a blessing that is almost exclusive to religious people. Kinda neat.
Oh, and my Kentucky money kinda "fell into my lap" just like yours. I went from having $0 on friday to having enough today. pretty neat too. I'm pretty sure this trip will have a great deal of beauty and love in it. I hope it affects me for a long time.
as someone who's never actually been on the SWAP trip... what does the money pay for? Cuz I was thinking I could drive/fly there, stay in a motel, and it would be cheaper.
travel expenses, accomadations, as well as building supplies, tools, and general building/renovation expenses.
